Happy October, Gallifrey One fans! We’re slowly ramping up plans for next February’s convention, The Magnificent 37 of Gallifrey One, after our lengthy summer break (during which many of us were focused on the 2026 World Science Fiction Convention, LAcon V) and we have a lot coming at you over the next four months: lots of additional guests, programming and so much more. To get things started, our Discussion Panel suggestion form and our TARDIS Talks form are both now online; see below.
TARDIS Talks Academic Program
Interested in speaking in the TARDIS Talks program? TARDIS Talks offer a different type of fan discussion at our convention… not just for academics, but also for fans who want to discuss topics about Doctor Who in greater depth. Rather than a traditional fan discussion panel, TARDIS Talks offer speakers a longer time to speak (ten to fifteen minutes) about a topic they’re passionate about, with a discussion after all the speakers. In addition, the TARDIS Talks feature an invited Keynote Speaker each year. Details are on the TARDIS Talks page.
You can submit a 200-300 word presentation proposal via the following link; we’ll read through the submitted proposals and organize the accepted ones onto panels, and then work with the convention organizers on the final list.
The deadline for submissions to the TARDIS Talks program is December 15, 2026. Good luck!
Discussion Panel Program Suggestions
Meanwhile, Gallifrey One’s Discussion Panel Suggestion Form for 2027 is now online, with a quick deadline of October 31, 2026. The submission form can be accessed via the following link:
Gallifrey One 2027 Discussion Panel Suggestion Form
The suggestion process is open to everyone, but please note that only ticketholders may attend or participate on these panels. Tickets are required for the event and we do NOT give free passes to anyone volunteering to be on a discussion panel. Some helpful advice?
- Use the following form to submit one panel topic or idea; if you have multiple topic suggestions, please fill out the form again for each. Panel topics should be submitted for discussion by attendees of the convention.
- Please avoid “generic” panel topics such as ‘favorite episode’ or anything that focuses solely on one era of the show. While we appreciate your input, we usually go for more complex panel topics. We genuinely do not need these.
- Do not use this form to submit the following: presentations you want to make yourself; events you want to organize; panels that require you to be the primary or only speaker or presenter; or anything related to any guest participation (confirmed or requested). For any of these items, reach out to us directly via email to contactus@gallifreyone.com, not here.
By submitting your suggestion, you authorize Gallifrey One Conventions to use all or part of your idea for one or more of our upcoming events, including modifying any suggested panel topic/theme to fit our programming.
Though we appreciate everyone’s interest, please note that we will not guarantee your participation as a moderator or panelist on any panel, including those suggested to us. We will also NOT empanel anyone without a current ticket to the convention, so you must have a ticket by the time we close this form.
The deadline for panel topic suggestions is October 31, 2026. Thank you for your suggestions!
